How I Work With Clients

We will hold an initial 30-minute information session where I can explain what you may expect from the coaching relationship and my specific approach to coaching. I would also like to understand your expectations from coaching at this point.

We can then begin coaching sessions, each of which will last 50 minutes. However, it is my experience that clients need to process and “self-coach” in between sessions, and therefore fortnightly sessions around the client’s schedule would be recommended.

In order to engage with the coaching process and to put into practice the tools gained in coaching, I urge my clients to commit to a minimum of five sessions at the outset. The frequency of the sessions can be set out going forward after the initial period.

The sessions are exclusively on Zoom or Skype, and I can be contacted between sessions as set out between the client and myself.

Designing Our Coaching Relationship

One of the primary objectives of the coaching relationship is to support my client in reaching their goals. We will talk about what you want to accomplish in our sessions. It is also important for you to keep your goals in mind – if you are not totally clear, that is fine – keeping some attention on your objectives and needs between sessions helps them emerge and become clearer. It may be helpful to know what you would like to gain from the first session – or what might be the most effective use of time for you.
